Terms of Service
Effective date: November 4, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Tarot Habit (the "Service"), available at https://tarothabit.com, operated by Individual Entrepreneur Iurii Balaka, Airport Highway Street N186, Floor 7, Apartment N33, Batumi, Georgia ("we", "us"). By creating an account or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms.
1. What the Service is
Tarot Habit is an educational digital course about the symbolism, history and art of tarot, built on the classic 1909 deck illustrated by Pamela Colman Smith (public domain), together with a journaling and self-reflection tool. It includes short daily lessons, a card of the day, a card library, journaling prompts and downloadable materials. We teach card meanings, symbolism and techniques for laying out and interpreting cards; you apply them to reflect on your own questions. We do not provide personal sessions, consultations or coaching.
2. Important disclaimer
Tarot Habit is an educational product about tarot symbolism and a tool for self-reflection and entertainment. It does not predict the future and is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. You are solely responsible for the decisions you make. If you are in crisis or need professional help, please contact a qualified professional or local emergency services.
3. Accounts
You need an email address to create an account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live. Keep access to your email secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
4. Subscriptions, free trials and billing
- Plan: Monthly ($12 per month), in USD, plus any applicable taxes. Prices shown at checkout are final.
- Founding-member pricing: the first 100 subscribers keep their founding price for as long as their subscription stays active without interruption. If a founding subscription is canceled and restarted within 30 days after access ends, the founding price still applies; after that, the then-current price applies.
- Free trial: where offered, a trial (7 days unless stated otherwise) gives full access. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically and you will be charged the plan price. We email you a reminder before the first charge.
- Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled.
- Cancellation: you can cancel at any time from your account page or through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current trial or billing period; you keep access until then.
- Price changes: we will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price change for an existing subscription.
5. Payments and our reseller
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Whop. Whop is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Whop provides all customer service inquiries related to payments and handles returns. Your purchase is also subject to Whop's buyer terms.
6. Refunds
You may request a full refund within 14 days of the first payment for a membership; refunds of monthly renewals are at our discretion. The money-back guarantee applies once per customer. See our Refund Policy for details. If you get a refund, you keep access until the end of the period you paid for, up to 30 days after the refunded payment. This applies to your first refund only: any later refund ends your access when it is issued. Refunds of duplicate charges (the same payment taken twice) don't count. If you open a chargeback or payment dispute instead, your access ends immediately.
7. Acceptable use and content
Your subscription is for your personal, non-commercial use. Do not share your account, resell, scrape or redistribute course materials. Lesson texts, videos, design and software are owned by Individual Entrepreneur Iurii Balaka or its licensors. The 1909 card illustrations are in the public domain. Your journal entries belong to you; you grant us only the rights needed to store and display them to you.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and may improve or change lessons and features over time. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
9. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Individual Entrepreneur Iurii Balaka is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
