Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account data: your email address (used to sign you in with a one-time link or code).
• Quiz and course data: your quiz answers, cards you draw, lessons you complete and journal entries you write.
• Subscription data: plan, status and renewal dates received from our payment reseller. We never receive or store your full card details.
• Usage and marketing data: pages viewed, referral source (e.g. UTM parameters) and, if enabled, events sent to advertising and analytics tools (Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Google Analytics) using cookies or similar technologies. Our product analytics (PostHog) records which steps you take (for example quiz started, lesson completed) under a pseudonymous id derived from your email, and, where you allow analytics cookies, may record anonymized session replays with all typed text and journal entries masked.

How we use it

• To provide the course, save your progress and journal, and manage your subscription.
• To send the emails you asked for (cheat sheet, lessons, trial reminders, account messages). You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
• To understand which content and ads work, and to improve the Service.
• To comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse.

Who we share it with

• Whop, our reseller and Merchant of Record, which processes payments, taxes and invoices under its own privacy policy.
• Supabase (database and authentication), Cloudflare (hosting) and PostHog (product analytics, US region), as our processors.
• Email delivery providers, and, if enabled, Meta, TikTok and Google for analytics and advertising measurement.

We do not sell your personal information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and US state laws such as the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data, and to opt out of targeted advertising. You can export your journal anytime from your account page. For anything else, email hello@tarothabit.com; we respond within 30 days.

Retention

We keep account and journal data while your account is open. You can ask us to delete your account at any time. We keep billing records as long as required by law.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your timezone. Analytics and advertising cookies are used only if those tools are enabled on the site; you can block them in your browser settings.

Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We will post any changes here and update the effective date above.
